FP7 - ERA-NET Scheme - ERASynBio - Building Synthetic Biology capacity through innovative transnational projects - 2014

Call for Proposals

ERASynBio is an ERA-NET action supported by the European Commission through the 7th Framwork Programme. It brings together 16 national funding agencies managing national programmes for research and developpement activities. Under the ERASynBIo, these organisations coordinate their national programmes and pool a share of their resources to finance transnational projects in the field of Synthetic Biology. This is the engineering of biology: the deliberate (re)design and construction of novel biological and biologically based parts, devices and systems to perform new functions for useful purposes, that draws on principles elucidated from biology and engineering.
