Our tasks

  • Building applications and getting grants

    We assess the relevance of your projects and identify the most appropriate funding programmes. We assist you to formalise the project, the application, the budget and to negotiate partnerships.

  • Managing funded projects and optimizing the instalments

    We set up your project manager's performance indicators. We train and guide your team and your partners to fulfill the reporting requirements.We propose solutions to any problems encountered and if need be, assist with negotiations in order to obtain the best final funding deal.

  • Communicating and dealing with key people in Europe

    We design your lobbying approach and help you obtain institutional support and relevant partnerships. We organise project communication (a contractual obligation), set up and run your project websites. We help you organise your promotional events and can take part in them if relevant.

  • Enhancing your funding strategy and position

    Benchmarks, studies, competitors review, funding annual road map... Welcomeurope analyse for your organisation any relevant scheme to enhance your funding and position at EU level. Welcomeurope will draw up recommendations and will guide to reach the defined objectives.

    ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE - EDF
    Welcomeurope Mission: Identification of fundings available for projects relating to French local territorial development. Realization of a bimonthly monitoring gathering news and information on operational fundings, legislation, projects and professional meetings.

    VOLVO GROUP (SE)
    Since 2004 VOLVO Group is very active at European scale, building strong partnerships and being active in the FP successive generations. In addition, EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND has been mobilised fore some developments in Poland, France… WELCOMEUROPE assistance : training and counselling Research heads of projects, evaluation studies, building applications, negotiations with programmes officers. Mission carried out since 2004.

    AMF - ASSOCIATION OF MAYERS OF France (FR)
    The French Association of Mayers, in close partnership with MAIRIE 2000, has been selected for a large national programme of communication and training of Mayers on European structural funds ERDF, financed by the Technical Assistance programme EUROP’ACT. WELCOMEUROPE assistance: Service provider to train the mayers, writing of a handbook, identification of testimonials/sucess stories. Mission carried out since 2011.

    MISSION LOCALE DES ULIS – ILE-DE-FRANCE
    Youth employment Agency Ulis has received support from the European Social Fund for two projects aimed at integration of young people in its territory. WELCOMEUROPE Mission: assistance in the development of applications, management of projects and the formalization of the balance sheets.

    PÔLE EMPLOI DG (FR)
    Pôle Emploi, the French public body in charge of employment, is part of the EURES network, the European Job Mobility Portal. Welcomeurope assistance: review of funding opportunities allowing to pursue the activities of the EURES network beyond 2013.

  • LOCALTIS
    LOCALTIS is the main French information portal dedicated to local authorities. WELCOMEUROPE assistance: Structural funds database for France, editorial content of European section, interviews and monitoring of calls for projects. Mission carried out from 2002 to 2011.

  • MEADOW
    2008-2010 MEADOW is a FP6 coordination action funded by the European Commission under Priority Seven (Citizens and Gouvernance - CIT5-CT-2006-028336). 14 partners in total. WELCOMEUROPE assistance: Support to reporting phases, financial reports, partners expenses…

  • AQUITAINE REGIONAL COUNCIL (FR)
    ANCORIM is an INTERREG IVB project. It has been selected as the best project under the IV Atlantic Space. Budget: 1.9 million Euro. The project aims to improve the prevention and management of coastal risks (erosion, water quality and regional development). WELCOMEUROPE assistance: Project building in close cooperation with RCT, partners identification and negotiation until commitment, formalisation of the application, budget designing. After project launching, partners meeting.

  • LILLE METROPOLE COMMUNAUTÉ URBAINE (FR)
    Lille Métropole Communauté Urbaine (85 municipalities, over 1 million inhabitants), host of many clusters active in creative industries (textile, image, design), has decided to answer the call for proposals for a European Creative Industries Alliance, launched by DG Industry of the European Commission. Welcomeurope assistance : in collaboration with the consultancy Algoé for the creative industries aspects, Welcomeurope has supported Lille Metropole in defining the project, searching for partners, assembling the application form, and drafting the budget.

  • EDENRED (ACCOR SERVICES)
    Accor filed the project FOOD in response to the 2008 call for proposals under the program "public health" and as coordinator of a network of European partners. This project was selected by the European Commission and will receive grant 499,655 euros (or 52.6% of the project budget). WELCOMEUROPE Assistance: support to the team in charge of the project for the financial setting-up and the writing of the project application; organization of a major European event, involving participants from other European projects dealing with the same subject.

Our tasks

  • Assessing programmes

    We identify territorial projects and their results in the light of European Funding policy for 2007-2013 and adjust them accordingly. We assess and diagnose your methods and programmes.

  • Providing information on programmes

    We draw up ERDF and ESF regional communication plans. We provide support to owners in dealing with contractors and with your communication plans. We assess your actions concerning structural funds and provide recommendations and tools for the managing authorities.

  • Organising and managing resources assigned to programmes

    We facilitate partnerships between the State and beneficiaries of global subsidies for European programmes. We advise you on how to increase the capacities of your programme management and facilitation teams.

The ASP is also an actor involved in the management of the Technical Assistance National Programme Europ’Act and is in charge of the PRESAGE project (French software for the structural funds management) WELCOMEUROPE : training of staff involved in European funds instruction and controls (ESF, ERDF, EAFRD, EFF).
