Does my project correspond to all 2010 priorities?
  The EU relations with the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) were underpinned in 1991 through a programme of technical assistance: TACIS Global budget 2000-2006: 3,14 billion
OBJECTIVES:
* Support for institutional, legal and administrative reform
* Support for the private sector and assistance for economic development and rural economy

REGIONAL PRIORITIES 2004-2006:
* Sustainable management of natural resources, focusing mainly on water, biodiversity, forest resources and climate change
* Promoting trade and investment flows, through increased interstate cooperation in the fields of energy, transport and information society
* Justice, borders, combating organised crime and terrorism, improving migration and asylum management

FINANCED ACTIONS:
* Economic policy advice, government organisation advice
* Training, distance learning methods
* Studies: pre-investment plans, market research and analysis, feasibility studies
* Expertise in reformed institutions such as restructuring banks, employment offices, social services institutions, training centres...

TACIS works with different sub-programmes:
* National programmes (80% of the funding) are financed through various Partnership and Cooperation agreements with some countries.
These activities are services, supplies or works.
Companies can consult the list of upcoming tenders for procurement services.
* Cross-border programmes
* Small-project programmes
* Regional programmes finance cooperation projects: see EUROFUNDING sheets: BISTRO, IBPP, TACIS CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION SMALL PROJECTS AND MICRO-PROJECTS, MANAGERS' TRAINING PROGRAMME - MTP III, TACIS POLICY ADVICE.

EECA countries are: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Mongolia, Russian Federation, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. A CEC delegation was opened in Belarus in 2005 and a programme officer sent in Moldavia.
New programme from 2007: European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI).
