This conference will offer an overview of the latest developments in EU legislation and the most important recent case law of the European Court of Justice affecting the pharmaceutical sector, with a special focus on measures aiming to reinforce information and protection of patients: * Pricing and reimbursement of medicinal products * Practical issues related to cross-border health care * New legislative projects in the field of transparency of prices, clinical trials, etc. * Follow-up of the legislative proposal on the prevention of the entry into the legal supply chain of medicinal products which are falsified * Relevance of the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement for the pharmaceutical sector * Parallel trade * Counterfeiting of medicinal products * Lessons to be learned from the AstraZeneca case on abuse of dominant position
