Conference "ICT for energy efficience"

On February 23 2010 the second edition of European Conference on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT )will open in Brussels and last until February, 24. The Conference will be held under the Spanish Presidency of the EU. Organized by the European Commission, this high level Conference aims to become the vehicle engine to facilitate the transition to an energy efficient economy and a sustainable society, following the recommendation of the Commission adopted October 9, 2009: "Harnessing ICTs for facilitate the transition to a high efficiency and low carbon emissions". Discussions will focus on policy and technical advances in the fields of intelligent cities, intelligent buildings, transport and logistics, intelligent networks, systems, smart metering, data centers energy efficient, new business models of energy market liberalization and the role of media in raising awareness of the actors.
