Conference: Intelligent Energy Turkey - EU
The covering of future energy demands has become one of the most important problems worldwide. In view of the finiteness of fossil fuels, renewable energies become more and more important. In Turkey, however, fossil fuels dominate the energy market. Furthermore, current plans of the Ministry of Energy focus on the construction of at least three nuclear reactors until 2012. Among others speakers will come from European Commission, European Parliament, Turkish Government, Turkish Parliament, German Parliament, Marmara University, Ege University, Heinrich Böll Stiftung, Solar Energy Institute, CSIS, Greenpeace, , Eurosolar, Turkish Wind Energy Association, GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam (GFZ).
