CORNET/EraSME Partnering Event
As finding partners for research projects is not always easy SenterNovem (The Netherlands), AiF (Germany), IWT (Belgium-Flanders) and SPW (Belgium-Wallonia) are organising a partnering event on January 20, 2010 in Maastricht, The Netherlands. Invited are SMEs, associations, professional federations, clusters and trade organisations, as well as research performing organisations such as private or public research centres, universities and RTOs that are interested in submitting project proposals for the 9th CORNET call or 7th EraSME call. “Newcomers” to CORNET and EraSME are invited to get on-track information about proposal preparation and to exchange experiences with “old stagers“. Networking is an explicit objective of the meeting. The partnering event is open for participants from all CORNET and EraSME countries and regions. The preliminary agenda 09.30h.: Start registration and coffee Plenary session (10. 30h. – 12.45h.) 10.30h.: Welcome – Mr. Roland Starmans (Manager SME Knowledge Networks SenterNovem) 10.40h.: Introduction CORNET and EraSME – Ms. Almut Büchner (coordinator CORNET, AiF) 11.00h.: CORNET best practice: PAPRIQUA (PAPer PRInt QUAlity) – Mr. Pierre Lefebvre (Director of CELABOR) 11.20h.: EraSME best practice: OVERAS (A Customer support for justified shoe selection) – Mr. Wim Dewindt (Business Development Manager Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen) 11.40h.: Elevator pitch project ideas (5 minutes each) 12.45h. – 13.30h.: Buffet lunch Partnering session (13.30h. – 16.00h.) 13.30h.: Start partnering session 16.00h.: Closure partnering session 16.00h. – 17.00h.: Closure and drink Most of the time on the agenda is foreseen for face-to-face meetings which will be organised arround project ideas of participants. Participants will have the opportunity to present project ideas in short presentations (max. 5 minutes) in the plenary session and to discuss them with potential partners in individual talks during the afternoon session. Powerpoint presentations of project ideas have to be sent to s.francke@senternovem.nl on Friday 15, 2010 the latest. Registration To allow organisers to optimally prepare the individual meetings, participants are kindly invited to register for the event by using the registration form: maastricht_registrationform.doc and sending it back before January 15, 2010 to: s.francke@senternovem.nl.
