Digital Preservation and Access to Cultural Resources: ICT Call 9 Information Day

What can you expect? - A plenary session in the morning will provide participants with information on the current work programme and on practical issues related to preparing proposals. - The parallel sessions before and after lunch aim at exploring in more depth each of the outcomes specified in the work programme. - Discussions will be based on contributions and questions from participants. The topics of the parallel sessions are: Digital Preservation: - More reliable and secure preservation technologies and methods - Objective 4.3.a - Technologies and systems for intelligent management of preservation - Objective 4.3.b Access to Cultural Resources: - Technologies for creating personalised and engaging digital cultural experiences - Objective 8.2.a - Open and extendable platforms for building services that support use of cultural resources for research and education- Objective 8.2.b - Improved and affordable technologies for the digitisation of specialised forms of cultural resources, including tools for virtual reconstructions- Objective 8.2.c
