EU Funding for Utilities - How to Raise Money for Investments

The EU offers many funding possibilities in the area of Renewable Energies, Research and Infrastructure for Utilities because environmentally friendly and innovative infrastructure solutions are massive investments. Utilities need public support in financing e.g. for renewable energy infrastructure (wind installations, wave/tidal). EU Funding Landscape for Utilities: • European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for infrastructure and development of regional assets • FP7 or CIP for developing new products and finance research • European Social Fund (ESF) for training and workforce around this Participants will get an overview about EU Financial Support for Energy Projects (How and from where to receive money from the EU). They will learn more about legal requirements and how to write a successful application. Case Studies and Best Practise Examples will support an experience exchange between the Member States. Finally attendees can make most of the financial instruments of the EU. This seminar is targeted especially at utilities in search of funding possibilities for optimising and developing innovative investments.
