INFORMATION EVENT ON THE FIRST CALLS FOR PROPOSALS UNDER THE E-INFRASTRUCTURES ACTIVITY OF THE 'CAPA

The European Commission, DG INFSO - Unit 'Research Infrastructure' is organising an information event in the context of the planned launch of the first calls for proposals under the e-Infrastructures topic of the 'Capacities' Specific Programme, Seventh Framework Programme. The event will take place the whole day. The event will focus on the following topics of the first call: INFRA-2007-1.2.1: Scientific Digital Repositories; INFRA-2007-1.2.2: Deployment of e-Infrastructures for scientific communities; as well as will address the following topics in relation to the activity 'Support to new research Infrastructure': INFRA-2007-2.1.2: Design studies for e-Infrastructures; INFRA-2007-2.2.2.1: Preparatory phase for 'Computer and Data Treatment' research infrastructures in the 2006 ESFRI roadmap. It will also provide forward-looking information on the following topics: INFRA-2007-1.2.3: e-Science grid infrastructures; INFRA-2007-3.3: Studies, conferences and coordination actions supporting policy development, including international cooperation, for e-Infrastructures INFRA-2008-1.2.4: GÉANT; INFRA-2008-1.2.5: Scientific Data Infrastructure.
