FP7 Information Days: Energy and Transport

In the framework of its first call for proposals under the Sevent Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development, the Directorates-General for Research and for Energy and Transport of the European Commission are holding Joint Information Days on 13 & 14 February 2007 in the Charlemagne building, Brussels, Belgium. The first day (13 February 2007) will focus on the 1st FP7 Energy Call, the second day (14 February 2007) will be dedicated to the 1st FP7 Calls in the areas of Transport and Aeronautics. The aim of this 2 day event is to inform you about FP7 and the research areas open in the First Calls for Proposals in the themes Energy and Transport (including Aeronautics) within the Cooperation Programme, to give details about the main legal and procedural conditions and to clarify possible questions. Participation may also help you to get contact to other potential proposers and possible project partners. For those who are not in a position to come to Brussels, the event will be broadcast live on the internet. First Calls for Proposals under the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7) will be published on 22 December 2006. In order to support the preparation of proposals, the Directorates General for Research and for Energy and Transport of the European Commission are holding Joint Information Days on 13 and 14 February 2007 in the Charlemagne building, rue de la Loi n° 170, in Brussels.. The first day (13 February 2007) will focus on the 1st FP7 Energy Call, the second day (14 February 2007) will be dedicated to the 1st FP7 Transport Call. The European Commission would be pleased to welcome you to these Information Days. We would also appreciate if you further distribute this information to potential participants you might know in your organisation or country. The aim of this 2 days event is to inform you about FP7 and the research areas open in the First Calls for Proposals in the themes Energy and Transport within the Cooperation Programme, to give details about the main legal and procedural conditions and to clarify possible questions. Participation may also help you to get contact to other potential proposers and possible project partners. Online Registration Please register at the latest by 5 February 2007. Your registration needs to be confirmed by the Commission. The registration of maximum 2 representatives of one organisation can be accepted. The European Commission will not reimburse any travel, accommodation or other expenses for participants of the Information Days.
