«Innovating innovation by research - 100 years after Schumpeter» Conference

An event entitled 'Innovating innovation by research - 100 years after Schumpeter' will take place from 19 to 21 September 2011 in Vienna, Austria. The conference programme will be centred on series of sessions that will take place over three days, moving from policy discussion and debate to Seventh Framework Programme networking and engagement. There will also be a focused networking event, providing information on the FP7-SSH-2012 call for proposals which will launch in summer 2011. Socioeconomic sciences and humanities (SSH) researchers and stakeholders (universities, research institutions, civil society organisations, and small and medium-sized enterprises) will have the opportunity to meet both potential coordinators and potential project partners in a structured networking environment. The event is being co-organised by the EU-funded 'Network of socioeconomic sciences and humanities national contact points' (Net4society) project. The initiative actively supports networking in the SSH research community, offering partner search facilities and matchmaking events for connecting potential project partners in the SSH calls.
