Marco Polo Programme: infodays
The next call for proposals for Marco Polo should be lauched in February 2010. Infodays will be held on February, 10th 2010 in Brussels. The rules of the Marco Polo Programme have been simplified in order to enhance access to programme. The infodays will explain those changes. The infodays will also deal with: * presentation of 3 successfull projects * Sea Highways presentation * bilateral meetings with Marco Polo participants of the Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation. Marco Polo Programme aims is a European Union's funding programme for projects which shift freight transport from the road to sea, rail and inland waterways. This means fewer trucks on the road and thus less congestion, less pollution, and more reliable and efficient transport of goods
