PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAMME - Information day
The Commission is in the process of adopting the 2007 Work Plan for the implementation of the Public Health Programme (2003-2008). The Public Health Programme is a key instrument for promoting EU action and financing in this field. A Call for Proposals will be published subsequent to the adoption of the annual work plan. This 2007 Call for Proposals will be the most important means of implementing the 2007 Work Plan and the main financing instrument for the programme’s activities. In order to present the programme’s objectives and encourage potential beneficiaries to submit proposals in 2007, the Public Health Executive Agency is organising an Information Day on Wednesday 28 February 2007 in Luxembourg. Should you wish to participate in the Information Day, please register as soon as possible. As the number of places is limited, participation will be ensured on a first come first serve basis. Registration closes on 21 February 2007. Please send your registration - by e-mail to phea-infoday@ec.europa.eu - by fax to +352-4301 30359. Please note that the Executive Agency is not in a position to cover any travel or accommodation expenses. The meeting language is English. It should be noted that PHEA, together with the NFPs, is also envisaging to organise national and regional infodays; envisaged are such for the time being i.a. in Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Spain.
