CONSUMER PROTECTION POLICY

Grants in the framework of the programme of Community action in the field of consumer protection policy. The aim of this program is to ensure a high level of consumer protection, notably through improved evidence, better consultation and better representation of consumers’ interests.

This programme follows up Community actions in support of consumer policy for the years 2004 to 2006, except for the specific projects in the field of consumer policy which have been deleted. The programme favours instead training activities aimed at consumer organisations' staff members, as well as at consumers themselves.
