This programme continues under Horizon 2020, Pillar 2 "Societal Challenges" for the period 2014-2020. The current programme takes a new integrated approach which links all transport modes, addresses the socio-economic and technological dimensions of research. The global budget for the 2007-2013 period is 4.16 billion euro.
