IPA - IFI - MUNICIPAL WINDOW
Support to municipal investments in Candidate countries through local banks. European funding granted to encourage banks in the Candidate countries extend their lending to municipalities for the financing of small infrastructure investments, to offer loans over longer maturities, to enhance the banks’ capacity to assess and monitor the related risks and to manage their loans.

The Sponsor identifies a Project with a Participating Bank, chooses between a loan or risk-sharing instrument and submits a Project Proposal for approval to the Commission. The Sponsors monitor and report on Projects and Sub-Projects. ... More details
