LIFE Climate action is the second sub-programme of LIFE, the new programme for the environment and climate action that replaces LIFE+ programme (2007-2013). It is composed of three priority areas.

    Towards cleaner European transport
    The European Union wants to improve the energy efficiency of its road transport, currently doing worse than Canada, the United States or even China. On 21th November 2017, it launched a public consultation to study options for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from its transportation.
