Abstract
The EESC Prize for organised civil society, which is awarded annually, aimes to reward and encourage concrete initiatives and achievements of civil society organisations that have significantly contributed to promoting European identity and integration.

This Prize was launched in 2006 by the European Economic and Social Committee to encourage civil society participation to European integration. The theme is to be set each year by the EESC's President.
