The new Programme of Community Action in the Field of Health" for 2008-2013 was adopted on May 24th 2006, and only covers the field of public health. Projects under this action should bring great potential for reducing the burden of disease and promoting the health of the general population.

No obligation for transnational partnership and a project may involve several partners from the same country. But a project must have a significant European added value, possibly involve the Applicant Countries and having regard to the cross-cutting themes set out in the annual Work Programme. ...
