Why partnerships?
Meet the requirements of the Commission while maximizing its chances of success when you wish to apply for EU funding under a program or a budget line, it is important to keep in mind the main selection criteria that the Commission has determined and published in the call for applications or call for proposals. A capital gains often mentioned in the criteria is the establishment of a network for the development of a transnational project. Since the 80s, more and more programs recommend partnership, consortium or network carrier partners such as project organization. Indeed, in the functioning of its various cooperation policies, the European Commission attaches increasing importance to the networks. There is a desire to improve the quality management methods of these networks by encouraging the exchange of information on existing practices. It is also necessary for the European Commission to strengthen the management effectiveness of these transnational networks, particularly in their ability to make a significant European added value. Community programs advocate a mode of organization that can sustain the projects or structures developed thanks to EU funding. Projects are judged as if they can survive the funding period, and continue to work with other resources. An ad hoc partnership completed one project created as part of a grant or a temporary event will not be selected if it has no long-term goal.
