You can find on this page the list of European subsidies for the new independent States. The New Independent States (NIS) which comprise the 15 former Soviet Union republics except the three Baltic States, namely the EU neighbours – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Russia – and Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. The EU has fully supported the NIS in this transition process, contributing at increasing their freedom, political and economic stability, and prosperity. Apart from the grants programmes opened to the 15, the neighbours benefit, since 2007, from the ENPI (European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument).
