Home > European calls for tenders >
Why should I participate to the calls for tenders ?
Call for tenders are real opportunities to work with the European institutions. Consulting firms, study departments, but also companies, NGOs, associations and local and regional authorities can with tenders contract with the European institutions. There's a double attraction : getting new market shares and collaborate to the working-out of EU policies.
Call for proposals, calls for tenders : what's the difference ?
Institutions publish call for tenders when they tend to select a service provider for a specific mission and for their internal needs. This procedure is quite different from the call for proposals, by which the institution may select several relevant projects in a field to afford them a grant. The selected provider in a call for tender will get a compensation corresponding to the mission amount, including a profit margin. It differs widely from the grant afforded in a call for proposals, which covers only a part of eligible costs.
Which calls are listed in this alert ?
This alert includes only service contracts, concerning intellectual area. It only concerns the calls linked to European policies (studies, analysis, consulting, training, redaction, translation,). It doesn't list the calls for other services (transport, delivery,) and for services connected to construction (architect, studies of feasibility,). This alert includes after all calls from the European Commission. It may also include calls from the European Parliament, the Committee of Regions and the European Economic and Social Committee, as long as they correspond to the selected criteria.
