42 million euros of projects approved by the Council of Europe Bank

Meeting of the Executive Committee on 9 October decision of approved projects.Bosnia and Herzegovina
A project, with Raiffeisen Bank dd Bosna i Hercegovina, consisting of partial financing
of investment sub-projects undertaken by Bosnian-Herzegovine municipalities as well
as private and public companies performing public services and corresponding
sectors of intervention such as improving living conditions in urban and rural areas ,
protection of the environment and education (10 million euros).

Hungary
A project, with Raiffeisen Bank Zrt. Hungary, aims at creating new jobs through
strengthening the competitive position of Hungarian SMEs (30 million euros).

Italy
A project, with Intesa Sanpaolo Group (Italy), which will allow its subsidiaries in Serbia,
Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to encourage self-employment for young
entrepreneurs in those countries through the use of microcredit (2 million euros).
Since the beginning of 2007, the Council of Europe Development Bank has approved
31 projects, for a total amount of 2 024.3 million euros.
