420 million euro for Greek companies under the European Investment Fund

Employment, Innovation, Economy - Finances, SME Policy,-,

News The European Investment Fund has signed four agreements with two Greek banks which will provide 420 million euro to over 2000 companies in Greece.
EIF's central mission is to support Europe's micro, small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) by helping them to access finance.

These agreements will allow both banks to provide loans with substantially reduced collateral requirements under the European Commission’s COSME programme.
The banks will also target innovative companies in Greece under the European Commission’s InnovFin – EU Finance for Innovators initiative, backed by the EU's Research and Innovation programme Horizon 2020.
