Commission officially launches European network of mobility centers
The Commission has taken another step towards implementing the recommendations of the 2000 Lisbon Council summit with the official inauguration of the European network of mobility centres (ERA-MORE).
The network aims to provide researchers and their families with support and advice when contemplating an international move, thereby reinforcing the European Research Area and supporting Europe's ambition of becoming the world's most competitive knowledge economy by 2010.
The ERA-MORE network forms part of the growing suite of Commission services aimed at supporting researcher mobility in the EU, which also includes the researcher's mobility portal and new scientific visas for third country researchers.
