Development Youth Prize: the finalists are online!
The members of the jury have revealed the finalists of the Development Youth Prize 2007... Composed of representatives of Ministries of Development Affairs and Education, the European Commission, the European Parliament as well as experts in development, media and art education, the grand jury selected one winner and one runner-up from each European member country. They evaluated the contributions linked to the three themes of the competition (Climate Change, Sustainable Tourism and Water and Energy) on several criteria such as creativity and originality, clarity of the message and quality of the contributions.
The finalists were selected out of more than 1128 entries, representing schools from all EU member countries. The national winners will be announced at the prize-giving ceremony in Strasbourg in November 2008.
