ECHO - 9 million euro allocated to Southern Africa and Indian Ocean Region

Frequently affected by natural disasters, Madagascar, Malawi, Lesotho, Mozambique and Zimbabwe have benefitted from a EU humanitarian aid.



This aid distributed by the European programme ECHO will help the Southern Africa and Indian Ocean Region to withstand to be better prepared to withstand and respond to these natural disasters as well as to face casualties and population displacement. The EU humanitarian aid will also fund partner organisations that promote resilience building and preparedness activities in the region.
