The co-ordinator of the political project Europe 2005-2020 Vision will soon start the event "Democracy marathon" The project Vision Europe 2020 is the first political project developed by the generations born after the Treaty of Rome.
From September 2002, Franck Biancheri, its co-ordinator , will start a " Euro-democracy marathon" throughout the whole of Europe (EU+ candidate countries).
He will visit 100 towns in ten months to discuss with European citizens, with decision makers and with regional and local media.
In July 2003, a modified Vision Europe 2020 document will be circulated including the major contributions about the future of Europe thanks to those discussions..
Helped by the network Newropeans, this Marathon will be organised in partnership with a large number of citizens and organisations in each of the towns (associations, municipalities, universities, regions, companies, foundations, media, …).
The entire operation will be followed and supported by the web site www.newropeans.org
