Future European Union research policy
An open consultation (until October 15). The Commission would welcome views and comments from all regarding the future European research policy.Six major objectives are identified:
Creating European centres of excellence through collaboration between laboratories
Launching European technological initiatives
Stimulating the creativity of basic research through competition between teams at European level
Making Europe more attractive to the best researchers
Developing research infrastructure of European interest
Improving the coordination of national research programmes
Contributions would be particularly welcome from the research community and users of research, including public institutes, universities, large companies, SMEs, research organisations, international organisations and associations.
We would prefer you to contribute through an online questionnaire. This need take only 10-15 minutes to complete. The online questionnaire is available here.
