Intelligent Energy – Europe: last week to register for European Info Day on the 2005 Call for Proposals

The European Info Day will occur on 7 October 2005 in the Centre Albert Borschette in Brussels, Belgium. It will provide you with all necessary information and advice to apply for IEE co-funding and to increase your chances of success. You will also have the opportunity to meet and network with colleagues from across Europe, and to learn from the coordinators of successful proposals. You cannot attend the European Info Day?
A series of National Info Days will be held in almost every country covered by the programme. More information is available on http://europa.eu.int/comm/energy/intelligent/events/infodays_en.htm

The morning session of the European Info Day will be broadcast live on the internet by the ManagEnergy Internet Broadcast Service. You can register for the Internet Broadcast on http://www.managenergy.net/conference/0510eie_ibreg.html. ManagEnergy offers also a Partner Search service which can be used to add your partner search requirements and search for partners for your proposed projects.

Background Information on the 2005 Call
The 2005 Call for Proposals of "Intelligent Energy - Europe" is likely to be published next week. It will open a 4-month period during which applications for IEE co-funding can be submitted.

A total of €50 million of financial support will be made available to international projects, events and new local or regional agencies, which promote energy efficiency and the inreased use of renewables in a variety of areas , including energy aspects of transport and cross-cutting “horizontal” activities.
