A new terminal at Dubrovnik Airport thanks to ESI Funds

Transport, Local development, Tourism,-,

News The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) aims to support projects reinforcing economic, social and territorial cohesion by redressing the main regional imbalances.

Thanks to this fund, the Airport of Dubrovnik will be soon upgraded. In fact the European Commission approved a project of €214.9 million, cofunded with €134.6 million from ERDF. The airport is reaching its limits in terms of accommodation capacity. The construction of a new terminal will enable the airport to handle more travellers. It will enhance the international and national accessibility of the Croatian airport and it will be profitable for the economy of the country as well.
