OPEN DAYS 2007: Regions and cities invited to participate

170 representatives from regions and cities were present on 13th December when Gerhard Stahl, Secretary-General of the Committee of the Regions, and Graham Meadows, Director-General of the European Commission's Regional Policy Directorate General, launched the OPEN DAYS 2007. Under the headline “Making it happen: regions deliver growth and jobs”, European regions and cities are invited to set up partnerships by 9th February 2007 and to apply to take part in the event between 8th and 11th October in Brussels.

The OPEN DAYS 2007-European Week of Regions and Cities are jointly organised by the Committee of the Regions and the European Commission, Directorate General for Regional Policy.

The event will be organised in partnership with more than 100 regions and cities, which will be selected following an application procedure open until 14 February 2007.

On a case by case basis, participation is possible for partners from the business, banking and civil society sector, authorities from third countries and international organisations.

Regions searching for partners

Regions and cities can use this site to invite other partners to join their projected line-up, prior to making a formal application to become an official partner of the OPEN DAYS 2007 - European Week of Regions and Cities. If you are looking for an additional member for your conglomerate or should you wish to highlight your willingness to team up with others, your request we be published here.
