Transport, Local development, Environment,-,

Firstly, 38,3 million euro were invested in the construction and renovation of sewers around the Phlegraean Fields, a volcanic area located in the Gulf of Pozzuoli, northwest of Naples. The project also includes the depollution of lakes on the coast.
72,7 million euro will then be used to modernize the railway connection to the city of Bari through work in the Bari-Palese airport terminal, as well as the construction of road links to reach the railway line from surrounding municipalities.
Finally, 13,4 million euro will fund works on the railway section linking the city of Palermo, in Sicily, to its airport, to increase the capacity of the line, reduce travel time and decongest the outskirts of the city.
