These are credit lines made available to banks or financial institutions, which decline the proceeds for small or medium-scale investment projects meeting the Bank's criteria. To complement EIB financing, the intermediary also advances funds in support of the projects concerned.

Requests for credits financed in the framework of global loans should be addressed directly to one of the intermediary banks and financing institutions, which operates on the national, regional or local level.
