The new programme 2009-2013 focuses on new issues such as the protection of children (people being less than 18 yeras old), and on practical help for the end-user, particularly children, parents, carers and educators. The INSAFE Internet Safety Network, one of the funded projects organises every year in February the "Safer Internet Day".

What are the different steps ?
Besides the described above, accompanying measures will be funded to contribute to the implementation of the programme or the preparation of future activities. Applicants may be any private or public structure concerned by the Internet. Funding will be allocated through the publication of calls for proposal and calls for tenders. ... More details
