The 7.5 million euro guarantee agreement under the Juncker Plan with the Cooperative Bank of Thessaly will make loans more easily accessible to very small businesses in Greece.
Thanks to the EU Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI), the European Investment Fund (EIF) and Cooperative Bank of Thessalt (CBT) have signed a microfinance guarantee agreement that will allow CBT to provide loans to 500 Micro-entrepreneurs with a reduced interest rate. First target micro-enterprises will be start-ups and companies that have suffered during the financial crisis.
