Objectives
* Support the deployment and operation of Access Points and Service Metadata Publishers;
* Upgrade data exchange solutions to support and duly comply with the CEF eDelivery standards

Priority
* Promote the uptake and speed up the use of the eDelivery technical specifications amongst both public and private entities

Among financed actions
* Deploy Access Point(s) (AP):
– The operation of these Access Points(s) may also be supported for up to one year;
– The deployed AP(s) must have successfully passed the connectivity test(s) from the connectivity testing service offered by the eDelivery Core Service Platform

* Deploy Service Metadata Publisher(s) (SMP):
– The operation of these Service Metadata Publisher(s) may also be supported for up to one year;
– To confirm the connectivity to a Service Metadata Publisher (SMP) and Service Metadata Locator (SML) by the eDelivery Core Service Platform

* Upgrade data exchange solutions to support and duly comply with the CEF eDelivery standards:
– Adding or configuring functionality to the data exchange solution to support the CEF eDelivery standards (encryption algorithm, four-corner model support, support of dynamic discovery, etc.);
– Include interoperability testing with other vendors

* The installation of the software (Open Source or commercial) in a production environment (server, network, storage including the deployment of the necessary security infrastructure and other sectorial specific constraints, etc.)

* This call for proposals is an open call for proposals

* Initial duration of the project: 18 months

* Eligibility
– Be a legal person;
– Be: a public sector body from a Member State of the CEF programme;
– A consortium composed of at least 2 organisations, based in one or more EU Member States and/or EEA countries participating in the CEF Telecom programme, must be established;

– With the agreement of the Member State(s) or EEA countr(y)ies concerned, International organisations, Joint Undertakings, or public or private undertakings or bodies established in the Member States are eligible;

– The following entities are only eligible as co-applicants: public bodies and entities established in third countries to the CEF programme (including the Accessing States and candidate countries)
