This call for proposals aims to promote growth and to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of enterprises in the European Union.

Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
– To develop a co-operation projects with the national Trade Promotion Organisations (TPO), as well a strengthening of the European Trade Promotion Organisations network 
– To strengthen collaboration with  EU Member States and their Trade Promotion Organisations in the framework of the Missions for Growth and other internationalisation activities of the European Commission

This call for proposals is divided into 3 strands:

Strand 1 Enhancing cooperation among the trade promotion organisations and with the European Commission

Priority
– Enhancing the European Agenda of trade promotion organisations

Among financed actions
– Exchange of expertise and good practice
– Exchange of personnel between trade promotion organisations
– Creation of common instruments/ toolboxes for potential use by trade promotion organisations

Strand 2 Assisting to the organisation of future Missions for Growth and their follow up via the network of national trade promotion organisations

Priorities
– Strengthening cooperation between EU and other countries and regions of the world
– Enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest of Enterprise & Industry Policy
– Showing and promoting Europe as an investment opportunity for business: the external marketing of Europe’s internal market

Among financed actions
– Selection of companies in specific industrial sectors
– Preparation of the business-to-business events with the companies from the third countries
– Follow-up of the missions and evaluation of the results

Strand 3 Developing of a web-based instrument

Priority
– Developing a web-based instrument that can be of use to both national trade promotion organisations and the European Commission in order to map the international trade promotion activities inside and outside the EU

Among financed actions
– Planning destination countries of national trade promotion missions and EU Missions for Growth
– Participation of national delegations to major international trade fairs
– Incoming trade missions in the EU from the main trade partners
