The global objective of this call for proposals is to improve the competitiveness of the European video games industry, by increasing its capacity to develop European Audiovisual works with a high circulation potential, both in the EU and beyond.
Priorities and funded actions:
– Increase the capacity of European video game producers to develop projects with highly innovative content, which will have the potential to circulate throughout Europe and beyond
– Improve the competiveness of the European video games industry in European and
international markets by enabling the retention of intellectual property by European developers
Among financed actions
Only the activities relating to the development phase for the following projects are eligible: – Narrative storytelling video games regardless of platform or expected distribution method. In all cases the video game must be intended for commercial exploitation.
