The overall objective of this call is to help workers and employers in the formal and informal economic units of eight municipalities in Honduras have access to the benefits of decent and productive employment through active labor market policies promoted by public actors and private partnerships, including civil society.
Priorities and funded actions:
– Adapt the Strategy for the Promotion of Employment and Income to increase employment opportunities and income of the population, with emphasis on young people aged 12-30 years and women, through the formulation and implementation of the Local Economic Development Plan and Employment Promotion, in eight selected territorial areas.
Among financed actions
– Installation and operation of SENAEH offices;
– Operation of the institutional coordination mechanism of the employment sector;
– Installation and operation of Territorial Employment Bureau etc.
