Amorce:

The global objective of this call for proposals is to support CSOs contribution to the achievement of national development goals in Cambodia.

Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
– Lot 1: To improve gender equality and the lives of girls and women through advocacy and outreach;
– Lot 2: To enhance the capacities of the most marginalised and vulnerable groups in participate in national policy dialogue and in claiming their rights to access and manage natural resources.

Priorities
– Lot 1 “Women/girls empowerment and prevention of gender based violence”: Actions enhancing communication and awareness raising on wide behavioural change on women empowerment and gender equality, targeting Cambodian youth and using different ranges of media and innovative communication strategies and/or; Actions advocating the prevention and protection of girls and women from all forms of violence against them both in public and in the private sphere;
– Lot 2: “Access to natural resources and sustainable management of forestry sector”:
Actions promoting governance and accountability by strengthening the capacity of most vulnerable communities, notably indigenous people, to conserve and protect forests, including access to justice and/or; Actions supporting vulnerable communities participation in national policy dialogue across the forestry sector, with a focus on law enforcement and access rights.
