Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
* To enhance the EU-China dialogues and cooperation on employment, social affairs and inclusion in line with the external dimension of Europe 2020 and the decent work agenda;
* To support China in preparing and pilot-testing improved data collection and analysis systems on accidents at work and other work related health problems as a prerequisite for evidence-based policy making in the field of decent work and occupational health and safety

Priorities
* High quality methodologies for improved or new data acquisition and analysis systems on accidents at work and other work related health problems are prepared for implementation in China;
* Relevant improved or new data collections on accidents at work and other work related health problems are pilot-tested in a number of Chinese cities and metropolitan regions for use in policy analysis in China

Among financed actions
* Identifying existing data collections on accidents at work and other work-related health problems in China and the EU carried out or used in different government organisations;
* Analysing the methodologies and quality of existing data collections, as well as their use for policy analysis in the area of health and safety at work;
* Identifying data gaps in view of priorities and prepare proposals on how to close these gaps and improve the methodologies in data collection and policy analysis,
* Preparing and carrying out improved or new pilot data collections in cooperation with relevant Chinese government organisations in a suitable number of Chinese cities / metropolitan regions in key economic sectors; 
* Preparing reports about the findings of the methodological work, the pilot data collections and the possible use of the resulting data in policy analysis in China and the EU;
* Maintaining a small office in China for the duration of the grant to build and maintain close contacts with relevant government agencies in China; 
* Organising information and training events for relevant Chinese expert staff to carry out the pilot data collections

Additional information 
* This call for proposals is an open call for proposals

* Initial duration of the action: between 30 months and 36 months

* Eligibility:
– Be a legal person;
– Be: a public specialised service, body or public sector operator of the EU Member States with high technical competence, high degree of specialisation or administrative power for health and safety related matters, especially with specialised knowledge in the establishment of a data acquisition and analysis system on accidents and ill health at work;
– Be established in a Member State of the European Union
