Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
– Enhancing the quality of citizen’s control of public finances and making these controls more effective by strengthening the analytical, reporting, communication, investigation, etc. capabilities of Cameroonian CSOs or networks at the national and local levels;
– Improve the management of natural resources (land, forests, mines, etc.) with a view to furthering sustainability and participation

Priorities
– Impacting the living conditions of the most vulnerable population;
– Strengthening civil society in rural and remote areas in order to contribute to a more balanced and fairer development of local communities;
– Improving the situation of women in the economic and social context

Among financed actions
– Surveys on open budget, using online resources and tools to facilitate budget documentation (national and local), documentation management and the sharing of legislative and regulatory data;
– Strengthening / creation of networks or coalitions of NGOs working on one of the specific objectives of the call for proposals through the development of complementary capacities and synergies and through partnerships with experienced foreign NGOs;
– Consolidation and strengthening of collaboration with international initiatives related to budget transparencyc.
