Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives 
–  To develop a training programme, in close cooperation with the National Child Services Department (NCSD) in the Deputy Prime Minister Office (DPMO) and with the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET), and Ministry of Tinkhundla Administration and Development to capacitate different groups of caregivers of vulnerable children in any centre or programme nationwide in Swaziland; 
–  To implement a modular training programme at regional level, inviting different groups of caregivers to participate as trainees, which will increase the quality of child protection services; 
– To contribute to the capacity development of the NCSD with this training programme for caregivers 

Priorities
– Promotion of: human rights, gender and disability equality, democracy, good governance, conflict prevention, children’s rights and migration, environmental & livelihood sustainability and combating HIV/AIDS, non-discrimination, the rights of persons belonging to minorities, rights of persons with disabilities and other vulnerable groups

Among financed actions 
– To develop, implement and monitor a programme to train and capacitate different groups of caregivers of vulnerable children in any centre or programme, nationwide in Swaziland; 
– During a preparatory phase, to establish productive links with key stakeholders, and to prepare a realistic programme to develop capacity and undertake large scale training for caregivers for vulnerable children at community level; 
– To plan and organise a time-bound cascade training method to reach an estimated 4,000 caregivers in centres providing social protection services for vulnerable children; 
– To plan and develop the use of existing training materials, and documents giving examples of best practice in working with caregivers in the communities
