Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives :
* Improve the quality of service delivery and access in the Justice sector;
* Improve treatment of children in the responsibility of the criminal justice system;
* Improve sector governance and government’s financial capability to achieve sector policy objectives

Priorities :
* Improve efficiency of accountable, professional and effective justice services;
* Increase a fair access to justice services for all;
* National Child Diversion Policy;
* Linkages between justice sector institutions strengthened;
* Increase budget allocations to justice sector institutions and programmes and budget execution;
* Increase public trust and confidence Among financed actions :
* Support for victims through required treatment and contributions to practical schemes;
* Advocacy activities with strong action research component on matters related to access to justice;
* Investigations into reports of miscarriage of justice or contraventions of human rights by agents of the state;
* Support to groups working with vulnerable individuals and other target populations in pursuit of justice;
* Support for monitoring the progress of justice reform, complaint and redress mechanisms;
* Public consultations and education programmes on justice and human rights awareness in the media, schools and higher education institutions;
* Providing expert advice to committees and boards established within the justice sector to ensure the best impact on justice reform
