Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
* Strengthen CSOs in their roles as agents of change and development;
* Pool skills and know-how in order to influence decisions related to good governance issues

Priorities
* Strengthen the capacity of CSOs, whether or not they are members of their networks, to design, plan, implement and evaluate advocacy actions for good governance at local, regional or national level;
* Promote good governance at local, regional and national level;
* Fight corruption in all its forms

Among financed actions
* Training in advocacy for good governance;
* Organisation of actors into associative structures to defend their interests;
* Capacity-building for local actors in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation cycle of local development plans;
* Strengthening the organisational capacities and leadership of CSOs, CBOs and trade unions in the process of establishing accountability relationships with local authorities;
* Organisation of conferences, thematic debates;
* Carrying out studies on good governance;
* Production of advocacy materials;
* Organisation of consultation workshops and intra-CSO exchanges, research institutions and trade unions;
* Monitoring, support for advocacy actions for good governance at local, regional and national level;
* Pre- and post-action opinion surveys on advocacy for good governance

Additional information
* This call for proposals is an open call for proposals

* Initial duration of the project: between 8 and 12 months

* Eligibility:
– Be a legal person;
– Be an organisation that have different objectives as political organisations;
– The CSO coalition leader must have experience in governance issues at the local or national level. The coalition must include at least two women’s organisations and two youth organisations.
– Have at least five years of existence attested by a registration receipt
