This call for proposals aims to improve the health seeking behaviour of mothers and the health education of the population, and to improve the role and effectiveness of civil society in Jamaica

Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
– To improve the population’s health seeking behaviour regarding maternal, neonatal and infant health
– To strengthen civil society organizations (CSOs) involved in patients’ rights advocacy and health policy planning and monitoring, in relation to maternal, neonatal and infant health

Priorities
– Actions to promote the improvement of the health seeking behaviour of the targeted population in the sectors of maternal, neonatal and infant health.
– Actions to empower CSOs involved in patients’ rights advocacy and health policy planning and monitoring, to participate effectively in national health dialogue with national and international partners and to have a significant impact on the national health policy-making processes
– Actions led by CSOs involved in patients’ rights advocacy and health policy planning and monitoring, tackling maternal, neonatal and infant health problems
