Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives 
– To provide and disseminate high quality, policy-relevant and evidence-based research on topics related to economic and fiscal governance in Tanzania;
– To encourage domestic debate in Tanzania on economic and fiscal governance issues, especially with government stakeholders;
– To increase research capacity and expand the links among economic research institutions in Tanzania

Priorities
– Implementation of the Five-Year Development Plan II;
– Macroeconomic policies;
– Public finance management

Among financed actions
– Contribution to the production of research, diagnostic studies, assessments, and policy briefs in areas directly related to economic and fiscal governance in Tanzania; 
– Dissemination of research outputs to well-targeted policy makers, as well as prominent representatives of civil society and the private sector in the margins of policy dialogue with the Government of Tanzania;
– Promotion of dialogue with relevant stakeholders;
– Contribution to training on research and analysis of economic and fiscal governance issues
