Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
* To strengthen and support civil society in promoting human rights and fundamental freedoms;
* To support EU Human Rights priorities in accordance with the second objective of the Multi-annual Indicative Programme (2018-2020) for EIDHR

Among financed actions
* Capacity building, trainings and support measures;
* Information and advocacy measures;
* Awareness-raising activities;
* Support actions aimed at fighting discrimination and improving the participation of people with disabilities
* Support actions aimed at protecting and defending the rights of vulnerable children;
* Support actions aimed at fighting discrimination and violence against women in all aspects of life;
* Support actions aimed at fighting discrimination or marginalisation of groups of people (such as marginalised women, people with HIV/AIDS etc.);
* Support actions aimed at enhancing the role of persons with disabilities and women in public life and gender equality;
* Networking activities to develop cooperation with and between organisations and civil society members in the areas of interest of this call for proposals;
* Workshops and educational activities

Priorities
* To protect and defend the rights of vulnerable and marginalised women;
* To protect and defend the rights of vulnerable children;
* To protect and defend the rights of persons with disability as marginalised group;
* To promote and defend the rights of migrants and refugees, paying particular attention to victims of violence and trafficking of human beings;
* To promote and defend the economic, social and cultural rights, particularly of vulnerable groups; 
* To advance on business and human rights, in particular related to promoting corporate social responsibility.

Additional information
* This is a restricted call for proposals. In the first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated

* Initial duration of the call: between 24 and 48 months

* Eligibility:
– Be a legal person, or an entity without legal personality, or a natural person;
– Be non-profit-making;
– Be a specific type of organisation such as a CSO;
– Be established in any country

– The lead applicant may act individually or with co-applicant(s)

– Actions must take place in Eritrea
